The proposed building is a four-story mixed-use building located on the Southeast corner of the Elmwood Avenue & Forest Avenue intersection, in the vibrant Elmwood Village area of Buffalo, New York.

The building contains retail space on the ground and a 72-room hotel above, including a hotel lobby, reception, and cafeteria on the ground floor.

The building’s design is in character with good urban principles and acknowledges the eclectic character of the street. The building frames the public realm and enhances the interaction between the indoors and outdoors. All the car parking is out-of-sight behind and under the building. The only car entrance is from Forest Avenue.

The proposed hotel supports local retail as well as key neighborhood institutions such as Buffalo State, the Albright Knox Art Gallery, and the Burchfield-Penney, as well as new development at the Psychiatric Center.
